This web page will help you to choose suitable music for your event listing some of the most popular selections. With a vast repertoire containing a comprehensive selection of suitable works, ranging traditional pieces to more contemporary options, this website will guide you through the choices available to suit the venue you have chosen for your Wedding, including organ only selections as well as various combinations including trumpet, violin, female and male soloists, and choirs of different sizes.

CHOOSING MUSIC FOR THE WEDDING

The number of pieces you are required to select will depend on the style of ceremony and the venue you have chosen. Some venues have more strict guidelines than others, so please confirm the situation with them before making your selection.

Other Music Choices

Music can also be used at the following parts of your Wedding Ceremony or Mass

Responsorial Psalm

The Responsorial Psalm and Gospel Acclamation, found between the First Reading (Old Testament)
and Second Reading (New Testament), must be included in your ceremony whether they are spoken or sung.

Gospel Acclamation

The Gospel Acclamation follows the Second Reading (New Testament) and precedes the Gospel.

Candle Ceremony

A reflectional piece can be played here.

Hymns

Hymns do not always require a solo singer. If you are considering including one I suggest you ensure the people attending your ceremony are well trained in hymn singing. Use of a soloist can mean the song will be sung without the hymn becoming an organ solo.
